BRIDGEPORT, CT March 23, 2004--The expansion New Orleans VooDoo held the number-one spot in Football Galore's 50yard Powerstats for a third week in a row thanks to its win Thursday night in Arizona.

The 50yard Powerstats are conducted by Football Galore (http://www.footballgalore.com) and are updated weekly. The 50yard Powerstats are conducted to show which team in the Arena Football League is the most powerful, based on wins, strength of schedule and success on the road.

Teams receive 50 points for a win and an additional 25 points if the win is on the road. Teams also receive 10 points for each win by a team it has beaten.

New Orleans lead jumped from an average of 70 to an average of 76 because of the 70-58 road win.

The San Jose SaberCats, the last team to hold the top spot, crept back to the number two spot with its win over Las Vegas. The Chicago Rush moved to the third spot and Los Angeles Avengers, who beat former number-two Dallas, took the fourth spot.
