NAMED OFFICIAL HEADGUARD OF MAJOR INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE (MISL)
By Anonymous MISL officials and coaches have been outspoken advocates of protective headgear indoor soccer. Headguards offer soccer players a heightened level of protection by reducing risks associated with head-to-head or head-to-knee contact, without affecting their style of play.
“We see the problems associated with concussions from soccer injuries,” said MISL Commissioner Steve Ryan. “We definitely don’t want to compromise the integrity of the game, and these Headguards provide safety without changing the game. That’s why we’re delighted to bring on Full90 Sports as a sponsor of the MISL, and to promote their headguards during the season.”
“As longtime indoor soccer fans ourselves, we’re very happy to join up with the MISL,” said Jeff Skeen, President and CEO of Full90 Sports. “Like them, we want to see players stay true to the game while still taking common-sense safety precautions. As the many players who wore the Full90 Headguard during the recent Women’s World Cup proved, this is something you can wear without changing your game.”
About the Full90 Headguard: The Full90 Performance Headguard provides soccer players a heightened level of protection by reducing risks associated with head-to-head or head-to-knee contact, without affecting their style of play. Unlike other headguards, the Full90 Performance Headguard was designed within the concept of Performance Protection Technology (PPT), a new category and guideline process for developing protective athletic equipment that Full90 engineers pioneered. At its core, PPT combines applied physics, engineering and design with a deep appreciation for the heart and soul of an athlete, as well as absolute respect for the game they play. Dynamic Research Inc. (DRI) has conducted extensive tests on the Full90, documenting the reduction of typical head impacts in soccer.
